Store vial at 4°C prior to restoration. For extended storage, aliquot contents and freeze at -20°C or below. Avoid cycles of freezing and thawing. Centrifuge product if not completely clear after standing at room temperature.
This product is stable for several weeks at 4°C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use.

Anti-PEROXIDASE is an IgG fraction antibody purified from monospecific antiserum by a multi-step process including delipidation, salt fractionation, and ion-exchange chromatography, followed by extensive dialysis against the specified buffer.
Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-Sheep Serum as well as purified and partially purified Peroxidase (Horseradish). Cross-reactivity against peroxidase from other tissues and species may occur but has not been specifically determined.

Target Information

HRP (Horseradish Peroxidase) is an enzyme derived from the root of the horseradish plant. It catalyzes the oxidation of various substrates in the presence of hydrogen peroxide.
HRP is widely used as a detection enzyme in immunoassays such as ELISA and Western blot due to its high sensitivity and stability. It can also serve as a tracer in enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays and as a labeling agent in fluorescent microscopy.
