Product Specific Information
- This antibody does not react with Rat.
- For immunohistochemistry (PFA fixed): incubate antibody for 30 min at room temperature.
- Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires heating sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA, pH 9.0, for 45 min at 95°C, followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 min.
Target Information
FOXA1 encodes a forkhead class DNA-binding protein. These hepatocyte nuclear factors act as transcriptional activators for liver-specific genes such as albumin and transthyretin, and interact with chromatin. In mice, similar family members regulate metabolism and differentiation of the pancreas and liver.
