Phospho-FGFR4 (Tyr754) Polyclonal Antibody detects endogenous levels of FGFR4 only when phosphorylated at Tyr754.
Target Information
FGFR4 is a member of the FGFR family of receptor tyrosine kinases. This family regulates cellular functions such as angiogenesis, mitogenesis, osteogenesis, myogenesis, carcinogenesis, differentiation, and tissue repair after injury.
FGFR4 is also implicated in diseases including cancer, rheumatoid arthritis, and diabetic retinopathy.
It is required for normal down-regulation of CYP7A1 expression, the rate-limiting enzyme in bile acid synthesis, in response to FGF19. Additionally, FGFR4 plays a role in postnatal lung development and skeletal muscle lineage formation.
