Product Specific Information
- Antibody is tested in direct ELISA.
- For immunohistochemistry (PFA-fixed): incubate antibody for 30 min at room temperature.
- Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires heating tissue sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA (pH 9.0) for 45 min at 95°C, followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 min.
Target Information
NKX3-1 is a homeodomain-containing transcription factor and a putative prostate tumor suppressor.
It is expressed in a largely prostate-specific and androgen-regulated manner.
Loss of NKX3-1 protein expression is commonly observed in human prostate carcinomas and prostatic intraepithelial neoplasia.
