This product is preservative-free. To prevent contamination, it is recommended to add sodium azide (final concentration 0.05%–0.1%).

Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. Antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits are cloned, and the best clones are selected for production.

Target Information

FGFR3 belongs to the FGFR family of receptor tyrosine kinases, which regulate cellular processes such as angiogenesis, mitogenesis, osteogenesis, myogenesis, carcinogenesis, differentiation, and tissue repair.
FGFR family members differ in ligand affinity and tissue distribution. The full-length FGFR3 protein includes:

  • Extracellular region with three immunoglobulin-like domains
  • Single transmembrane segment
  • Cytoplasmic tyrosine kinase domain

FGFR3 interacts with fibroblast growth factors to initiate downstream signaling, influencing mitogenesis and differentiation. It plays a key role in bone development and maintenance. Mutations in FGFR3 are linked to craniosynostosis and various skeletal dysplasias.

Three alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been described.
