Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, perform an additional desalting step (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
The STAB2 gene encodes a large transmembrane receptor protein involved in processes such as angiogenesis, lymphocyte homing, cell adhesion, and receptor scavenging.
This protein contains multiple fasciclin, EGF-like, and laminin-type domains, along with a C-type lectin-like hyaluronan-binding Link module.
It is primarily expressed in sinusoidal endothelial cells of the liver, spleen, and lymph nodes.
STAB2 binds and internalizes various ligands, including hyaluronan, LDL, bacteria, and advanced glycosylation end products, supporting its role as a scavenger receptor cycling between the plasma membrane and lysosomes.
