CDK1 (Cell Division Control protein 1)는 세포주기 조절에 필수적인 START 단계의 완성을 담당하며, 유사분열의 개시를 유도하는 M-phase promoting factor의 촉매 서브유닛입니다.
CDK1은 모든 진핵세포에서 공통적으로 존재하며, G2/M 단계에서 Bcl-2의 인산화 및 세포자멸사 지연에 관여합니다.
또한, CDK 억제제 NU2058의 전립선암 치료 가능성도 입증되었습니다.
