Target Information
ARHGAP11B is a Hominin-specific protein that promotes development and evolutionary expansion of the brain neocortex. It promotes amplification of basal progenitors in the subventricular zone, producing more neurons during fetal corticogenesis.
It does not possess GTPase activator activity.
