Target Information
ZNRF1 is an E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase that mediates ubiquitination of AKT1 and GLUL, playing a key role in neuronal differentiation and transmission. It regulates Schwann cell differentiation and promotes neurodegeneration through Lys-48-linked polyubiquitination and degradation of AKT1, preventing AKT1-mediated phosphorylation of GSK3B, leading to microtubule destabilization in axons.
