Reconstitute the lyophilized antibody with deionized water (or equivalent) to a final concentration of 0.5 mg/mL.
Tocilizumab (also known as atlizumab) is a humanized monoclonal antibody approved by the U.S. FDA. It binds with high affinity to IL-6R and blocks IL-6 signaling by preventing formation of the IL-6/IL-6R complex. Tocilizumab is used for treatment of rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and systemic juvenile idiopathic arthritis (sJIA), a severe form of arthritis in children.
Anti-Tocilizumab Antibody (6C10), mAb, Mouse is produced from a hybridoma generated by fusion of partner cells and B-lymphocytes obtained from a mouse immunized with Tocilizumab.
Target Information
Tocilizumab (Actemra) is a humanized monoclonal antibody developed by Hoffmann-La Roche and Chugai for treatment of rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and systemic juvenile idiopathic arthritis. It binds to the interleukin-6 receptor (IL-6R) and blocks its interaction with interleukin-6 (IL-6), thereby inhibiting IL-6-mediated pro-inflammatory signaling.
