Target Information
Caspase inhibitor로서 procaspase-1/CASP1 활성 조절에 관여하며, pro-interleukin-1 beta (IL1B)의 성숙 및 염증 시 IL1B 방출 조절에 영향을 미칩니다. LPS 자극 시 IL1B 방출을 억제하고, NF-kappa-B 활성화를 유도합니다. CASP1 매개 신경세포 사멸, TNF-alpha, 저산소, UV 및 staurosporine 매개 세포 사멸을 억제하지만 ER 스트레스 매개 세포 사멸은 억제하지 않습니다. CASP1과 RIPK2의 상호작용을 방해함으로써 CASP1 및 CASP4 활성화를 억제할 수 있습니다. [UniProt]
