- In direct ELISAs, no cross-reactivity with recombinant human FABP1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, or 9 is observed.
- Reconstitute in sterile PBS to a final concentration of 0.5 mg/mL.
Target Information
The protein encoded by this gene localizes to myelin sheaths of the peripheral nervous system. It binds both the membrane layers of the sheaths and monomeric lipids, providing structural stability. Defects in this gene are associated with dominant demyelinating Charcot-Marie-Tooth (CMT) neuropathy.
