TRIM35는 tripartite motif (TRIM) 패밀리에 속하는 단백질로, RING, B-box type 1, B-box type 2, coiled-coil 영역을 포함하는 세 가지 zinc-binding 도메인을 가지고 있습니다. TRIM35는 종양 억제 인자로 작용할 가능성이 있으며, 세포 사멸 메커니즘에 관여하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다. 해당 유전자가 암호화하는 단백질은 TRIM 패밀리의 구성원으로 기능은 아직 명확히 규명되지 않았습니다.
