Target Information
MAPK3 (ERK1)는 serine/threonine kinase로, p90, RSK, MSK, ELK1, Stat3 등의 활성화에 관여하며 MAPK 경로에서 중요한 역할을 합니다.
ERK1은 다양한 세포에서 발현되며, 감수분열, 유사분열, 분화된 세포의 기능 조절에 관여합니다. 성장인자, 사이토카인, 바이러스 감염, G 단백질 결합 수용체 리간드 및 transforming agent 등 다양한 자극에 의해 ERK1/ERK2 경로가 활성화됩니다.
ERK1은 상위 kinase에 의해 활성화되어 핵으로 이동하며, 핵 내 표적 단백질을 인산화합니다. 다양한 alternative splicing을 통해 여러 isoform이 존재합니다.
