GeneBLAzer™ CysLT2-NFAT-bla CHO-K1 cells contain the human cysteinyl receptor (CysLT2) stably integrated into the CellSensor™ NFAT-bla CHO-K1 cell line.
CellSensor™ NFAT-bla CHO-K1 cells (Cat. No. K1534) include a beta-lactamase reporter gene under control of the Nuclear Factor of Activated T-cells (NFAT) response element.
These cells are functionally validated for Z′ and EC50 concentrations of LTD4 and tested for assay performance under variable conditions.

Cysteinyl leukotrienes are involved in the pathophysiology of inflammatory disorders such as chronic asthma. The cysteinyl leukotriene receptors CysLT1 and CysLT2 are key targets for anti-asthma drug development.
Leukotriene receptor antagonists (LTRAs) such as montelukast, zafirlucast, and pranlukast block cysteinyl leukotriene activity, reducing allergic inflammation and asthma symptoms.
