Target Information
GOLPH3는 처음에는 trans-Golgi network에 위치한 주변막 단백질로 확인되었으나, 이후 미토콘드리아의 cardiolipin 조절을 통해 미토콘드리아 질량을 조절하는 단백질로 보고되었습니다. 또한 TOR 신호전달 경로에 관여하며, GOLPH3 과발현은 세포의 부착 독립적 성장 및 증식을 증가시킵니다. EGF 자극에 의해 S6 Kinase 활성과 AKT 인산화가 증가하며, siRNA 처리 시 이러한 반응이 억제됩니다. 이는 GOLPH3가 TOR 관련 복합체를 통한 신호전달을 강화하는 온코진임을 시사합니다.
