Target Information
The SNX18 gene encodes a member of the sorting nexin family, which contains a phox (PX) domain involved in phosphoinositide binding and intracellular trafficking. Unlike some family members, this protein lacks a coiled coil region but includes a SH3 domain. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.
