MA5-17904 targets CD27/TNFRSF7 in FACS, IHC, and IHC (F) applications and shows reactivity with Mouse samples.
The immunogen is mCD27 tag expressing clones AR0524 and AR0530.
Target Information
CD27 is a 50 kDa member of the tumor necrosis factor (TNF) receptor superfamily, including CD40 and CD30. It regulates cell proliferation and death and is primarily expressed on lymphocytes.
High CD27 expression depends on antigen receptor ligation, while CD70 expression requires co-stimulatory or pro-inflammatory signals.
CD27 exists as a disulfide-linked homodimer on thymocytes, peripheral blood T cells, and some B cells. Activation of T cells via TCR-CD3 upregulates CD27 and releases soluble CD27 (sCD27), a prognostic marker for B cell malignancies.
CD27 dysfunction is associated with Lymphoproliferative Syndrome 2 and Autosomal Recessive Lymphoproliferative Syndrome.
