Target Information
The GRHPR gene encodes an enzyme with hydroxypyruvate reductase, glyoxylate reductase, and D-glycerate dehydrogenase activities. This enzyme is broadly expressed across tissues and plays a role in metabolic processes. Mutations in this gene are associated with Type II hyperoxaluria.
