Target Information
NSun6 is an RNA methyltransferase that catalyzes methylation at cytosine C72 in certain tRNAs. It localizes to the cytoplasm and largely colocalizes with the Golgi apparatus and pericentriolar matrix, indicating that NSUN6 modifies tRNAs in a late step of their biogenesis. NSUN6 may also play a role in bone metastasis and could be a potential therapeutic target.
