Target Information
XRCC4는 DNA 손상 후 효율적인 복구 및 유전적 안정성 유지를 담당하는 단백질로, 효모 DNA 복구 단백질 Rad51과 서열 유사성을 공유합니다. XRCC4는 DNA ligase IV의 보조 인자로서, DNA의 결손 또는 절단 부위에 결합하여 ligase IV의 연결 활성을 강화하며 V(D)J 재조합에도 관여합니다.
Ku-70, Ku-80, DNA-PKCS, XRCC4, DNA ligase IV 등의 DNA 복구/V(D)J 재조합 관련 구성 요소에 결함이 있을 경우, 재조합 과정이 중단되어 T 및 B 세포 성숙이 조기에 막히게 됩니다.
