Target Information
WFDC2 유전자는 WFDC domain family에 속하는 단백질을 암호화합니다. WFDC domain(WAP Signature motif)은 8개의 cysteine으로 구성되어 4개의 disulfide 결합을 형성하며, 많은 가족 구성원에서 protease inhibitor로 작용합니다. 이 유전자는 폐 상피세포에서 발현되며 일부 난소암에서도 발현이 보고되었습니다. 인코딩된 단백질은 작은 분비성 단백질로, 정자 성숙 과정에 관여할 가능성이 있습니다.
