Target Information

Ubiquitin은 세포 단백질을 26S proteasome을 통해 분해하도록 표적화하는 데 중요한 역할을 하는 고도로 보존된 단백질입니다.
UBA52 유전자는 N-말단의 ubiquitin과 C-말단의 ribosomal protein S27a로 구성된 융합 단백질을 암호화합니다.
이 단백질은 번역 후 가공되어 자유 ubiquitin 단량체와 ribosomal protein S27a를 생성하며, S27a는 40S 리보솜 소단위의 구성 요소로 세포질에 존재합니다.
유사한 방식으로 ribosomal protein L40과 S30도 ubiquitin 또는 ubiquitin-like 단백질과 융합 형태로 합성됩니다.
