Target Information
Nucleoporin Nup35 (Mitotic phosphoprotein 44)는 핵공 복합체(nuclear pore complex, NPC)에 존재하는 핵 단백질로, 핵막 및 라미나와 밀접하게 결합되어 있습니다. 이 단백질은 Nup53 패밀리에 속하며, MPPN (mitotic phosphoprotein N-terminal) 도메인을 포함합니다.
NUP35는 다른 뉴클레오포린과 달리 소수의 phenylalanine-glycine 반복 서열을 가지며, NPC의 구조적 구성요소이자 핵 수송 인자와의 결합 파트너로 작용할 수 있습니다. 또한 MAD1 전사 억제인자와의 상호작용에도 관여할 가능성이 있습니다. NUP35는 대부분의 조직에서 광범위하게 발현됩니다.
