Target Information
RALBP1 specifically activates hydrolysis of GTP bound to RAC1 and CDC42 but not RALA. It mediates ATP-dependent transport of S-(2,4-dinitrophenyl)-glutathione (DNP-SG) and doxorubicin (DOX), serving as the major transporter of glutathione conjugates and DOX in erythrocytes. Functions as a scaffold protein during endocytosis and interacts with CDC2 to regulate endocytic activity. One known substrate is EPN1/Epsin.
