Target Information
ZAK는 leucine zipper를 포함한 미토겐 활성화 단백질로, MLK 계열과 유사한 서열 및 기능을 가집니다. MAP3K 계열의 신호전달 단백질로서 MAP2K를 활성화하며, N-말단에 kinase catalytic domain, leucine zipper motif, sterile-alpha motif를 포함합니다. 이 단백질은 마그네슘 결합 단백질로 세포질에 존재하며, 감마선 신호전달을 매개하여 세포주기 정지와 체크포인트 조절에 관여합니다. 또한 세포사멸을 유도하는 활성을 가집니다. 다양한 전사적 스플라이싱 변이체가 보고되어 있습니다.
