Product Specific Information
- Tested in direct ELISA.
- For Immunohistochemistry (PFA fixed): incubate antibody for 30 minutes at room temperature.
- For formalin-fixed tissues: heat tissue sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA (pH 9.0) for 45 minutes at 95°C, then cool at room temperature for 20 minutes.
Target Information
CD40 Ligand (CD40-L, CD154) is a membrane glycoprotein expressed on T cells. It stimulates B cell proliferation and immunoglobulin secretion in the presence of cytokines. CD40 Ligand also induces cytokine production and tumoricidal activity in monocytes, and co-stimulates activated T cell proliferation accompanied by IFN-γ, TNF-α, and IL-2 production.
