Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using carrier-free antibody, perform an additional desalting step.
Recommended product for desalting: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL (Product #89882).
Target Information
NRAS (GTPase NRas) is a membrane protein that shuttles between the Golgi apparatus and the plasma membrane. This process is regulated through palmitoylation and depalmitoylation by the ZDHHC9-GOLGA7 complex.
NRAS possesses intrinsic GTPase activity and cycles between GTP-bound (active) and GDP-bound (inactive) forms via GTPase activating proteins and guanine nucleotide-exchange factors.
Mutations in NRAS are associated with juvenile myelomonocytic leukemia (JMML) and Noonan syndrome 6.
