Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. These systems clone specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits, followed by screening to select the best production candidates.

Target Information
The p53 tumor-suppressor gene integrates multiple signals controlling cell life and death. p53R2 is a p53-inducible gene containing a p53 binding sequence and encodes a subunit of ribonucleotide reductase. It is activated by ultraviolet and gamma irradiation that cause DNA damage. The p53R2 product plays a direct role in the p53 checkpoint for DNA repair. Additionally, the p73 isoform can induce p53R2 expression. p53R2 serves as an important target of p53 in tumor suppression.
