Product Specific Information

Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems developed by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select optimal candidates for production.
Advantages include:

  • Enhanced specificity and sensitivity
  • Lot-to-lot consistency
  • Animal origin-free formulation
  • Broader immunoreactivity due to rabbit immune repertoire

Target Information

SRC is a cytoplasmic tyrosine kinase and proto-oncogene involved in embryonic development and cell growth regulation. It associates with various cell surface receptors to facilitate signal transduction and plays roles in cytoskeletal organization, cell cycle regulation, and apoptosis.
In humans, SRC is located on chromosome 20. Its activity is modulated by phosphorylation at Tyr416 (activation) and Tyr527 (inhibition). Mutations in SRC may contribute to malignant progression in colon cancer. Two transcript variants encoding the same SRC protein have been identified.

For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures. Not for resale without express authorization.
