CXCL2는 활성화된 단핵구와 호중구에서 생성되며 염증 부위에서 발현됩니다. 혈액 조절성 케모카인으로서, in vitro에서 조혈 전구세포의 증식을 억제합니다. GRO-beta(5–73)는 매우 강화된 조혈 활성을 보입니다.
