Target Information
BAP31 (B-Cell Receptor Associated Protein, 31-kDa)는 소포체의 다중 막관통 단백질로, 유사 단백질 BAP29와 함께 호모 및 헤테로 올리고머를 형성합니다. BCL-2/BCL-XL 연관 단백질로서 세포사멸 조절에 관여할 가능성이 있으며, C-말단 영역에는 Caspase-1 및 Caspase-8의 인식 부위가 존재합니다. 또한 선택적 단백질의 골지체 수송에 관여하며, CFTR 발현 조절에도 영향을 미치는 것으로 알려져 있습니다. BAP31의 발현 또는 기능 억제는 낭포성 섬유증에서 염화 이온 채널 결함을 보완할 가능성이 있습니다.
