Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
This gene encodes a cytosolic protein belonging to a family of lipid-binding proteins including Sec14p, alpha-tocopherol transfer protein, and cellular retinol-binding protein.
The encoded protein stimulates squalene monooxygenase, an enzyme in the cholesterol biosynthetic pathway.
Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified for this gene.
