Target Information

IKZF4 is a DNA-binding protein that recognizes the 5′GGGAATRCC-3′ Ikaros-binding sequence. It functions as a transcriptional repressor and interacts with SPI1 and MITF to repress transcription of CTSK and ACP5 promoters through recruitment of corepressors SIN3A and CTBP2.
It may play a role in the development of both central and peripheral nervous systems.
