Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
This gene encodes one of four subunits of the splicing factor 3B. The encoded protein cross-links to a region in the pre-mRNA upstream of the branchpoint sequence in the prespliceosomal complex A. It may also be involved in assembly of spliceosomal complexes B, C, and E.
The protein interacts specifically with subunit 2 of splicing factor 3B and contains two N-terminal RNA-recognition motifs (RRMs), consistent with its direct binding to pre-mRNA.
