ERP44는 보존된 CRFS 모티프를 통해 기질 단백질과 혼합 이황화 결합을 형성하여 초기 분비 경로에서 티올 의존적 유지에 관여합니다. ITPR1의 칼슘 채널 활성을 억제하며, 소포체 내 산화적 단백질 접힘 조절에 역할을 할 수 있습니다. 또한 ERO1L 및 ERO1LB를 소포체 내에 유지하는 데 필요합니다.
