이 단백질의 정확한 기능은 알려지지 않았으나, 다른 peroxisomal ABC transporter와의 상호작용을 통해 adrenoleukodystrophy phenotype에 영향을 미칠 가능성이 있습니다. 또한 peroxisome 생합성 과정에도 역할을 할 수 있습니다.
