Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
The B9D1 gene encodes a B9 domain-containing protein involved in ciliogenesis. Altered expression of this gene has been associated with Meckel syndrome, a disorder linked to mutations in multiple genes. The gene is located within the Smith-Magenis syndrome region on chromosome 17, and three alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different proteins have been described.
