For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, it is recommended to perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

CDH4 (Cadherin-4) is a classical cadherin belonging to the cadherin superfamily. It is a calcium-dependent cell-cell adhesion glycoprotein composed of five extracellular cadherin repeats, a transmembrane region, and a conserved cytoplasmic tail.
Studies in chicken and mouse suggest its role in brain segmentation, neuronal outgrowth, kidney, and muscle development.
Research has shown that cadherins 2 and 4 can form stable cis-heterodimers, providing evidence of cadherin heterodimerization.
Three transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified for this gene.
