Target Information
STAT1 (signal transducers and activators of transcription 1)은 STAT 전사인자 패밀리에 속하며, interferon-α, interferon-γ, EGF, PDGF, IL6 등에 의해 활성화됩니다.
STAT1은 세포 성장, 세포사멸, 면역 반응, 지질 대사 등 다양한 유전자 조절에 관여합니다.
이 단백질은 JAK tyrosine kinase에 의해 인산화된 후 핵으로 이동하여 여러 유전자의 전사를 조절합니다.
STAT1은 IFN 계열(IFN-α, IFN-β, IFN-γ, IL-10), gp130 계열(IL-6, IL-11, LIF, CNTF, G-CSF), 수용체 티로신 키나아제(EGF, PDGF, CSF-1) 등의 다양한 리간드에 의해 활성화됩니다.
두 가지 대체 스플라이싱 전사체가 알려져 있으며, 서로 다른 isoform을 암호화합니다.
