Target Information
WDR4 단백질은 tRNA의 7-methylguanosine 변형에 필수적인 단백질로, WD 반복 단백질 패밀리에 속합니다. WD 반복은 약 40 아미노산 길이의 보존된 영역으로, 복합체 형성에 관여합니다. 이 패밀리의 단백질들은 세포 주기 진행, 신호 전달, 세포사멸, 유전자 발현 조절 등 다양한 세포 과정에 관여합니다.
WDR4는 비증후성 난청(DFNB10)의 원인 유전자로는 배제되었으나, 염색체 21q22.3 영역의 다른 질환 및 다운 증후군 관련 표현형과 연관될 가능성이 있습니다.
