Target Information

Dual specificity protein phosphatases는 phosphoserine/threonine 및 phosphotyrosine 잔기를 탈인산화하여 표적 키나아제를 불활성화합니다. 이들은 MAPK superfamily (MAPK/ERK, SAPK/JNK, p38)의 구성원을 음성 조절하며, 세포 증식 및 분화에 관여합니다.
이 유전자 산물은 p38 및 SAPK/JNK를 불활성화하지만 MAPK/ERK에는 작용하지 않습니다. 세포질과 핵 모두에 고르게 분포하며, 다양한 조직에서 널리 발현되고 스트레스 자극에 의해 발현이 증가합니다. 세 가지 전사 변이체가 보고되어 있으며, 두 가지 이소폼을 암호화합니다.
