Target Information
ADAM17 (disintegrin and metalloproteinase domain-containing protein 17)은 TNF-alpha 전구체를 절단하여 성숙한 가용성 형태로 전환시키는 효소입니다.
이 단백질은 또한 p75 TNF-receptor, interleukin receptor type II, p55 TNF-receptor, transforming growth factor-alpha, L-selectin, growth hormone receptor, MUC1, amyloid precursor protein 등의 세포 표면 단백질을 절단합니다.
Notch 경로의 활성화에도 관여하며, Notch 절단을 매개하여 막 연관 중간체인 Notch extracellular truncation (NEXT)을 생성합니다.
유전자 변이는 염증성 피부 및 장 질환과 관련될 수 있습니다.
