• Immunohistochemistry (PFA fixed):
  Incubate antibody for 30 minutes at room temperature.
  For formalin-fixed tissues, heat sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA (pH 9.0) for 45 minutes at 95°C, then cool at room temperature for 20 minutes.

Target Information

The FOXP1 gene belongs to subfamily P of the forkhead box (FOX) transcription factor family. These transcription factors regulate tissue- and cell type-specific gene expression during development and adulthood.
FOXP1 protein contains both DNA-binding and protein–protein interaction domains. This gene may act as a tumor suppressor, as it is lost in several tumor types and maps to chromosome region 3p14.1, which contains tumor suppressor gene(s).
Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms.
