Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to reach a final concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
Paxillin is a focal adhesion protein and a substrate for several tyrosine kinases such as Src, FAK, and p210BRC/ABL. Its tyrosine phosphorylation is influenced by cell adhesion changes. Paxillin interacts tightly with FAK and Crk via its SH2 domain, independently of the extracellular matrix. Initially found in fibroblasts, paxillin phosphorylation also plays roles in neurite extension during differentiation.
