Target Information
MHC Class I (H-2Ld) is a protein complex located on the surface of vertebrate cells.
Its primary role is to present peptides derived from intracellular proteins to T cells for immune recognition.
The structure consists of a heavy chain, beta-2 microglobulin, and a peptide-binding groove interacting with antigenic peptides.
Typically found on the surface of nucleated cells, MHC Class I (H-2Ld) is essential for immune surveillance.
HLA and MHC antibodies are critical in Immunopeptidomics, enabling identification and characterization of neoantigens via LC-MS/MS.
