Target Information
This gene encodes a member of the sorting nexin family, which contains a phox (PX) domain involved in phosphoinositide binding and intracellular trafficking. Unlike some family members, this protein lacks a coiled-coil region. The gene produces two transcript variants differing in the 5′ UTR but encoding the same protein.
