Target Information

Protein phosphatase 2 (PP2) is one of the four major Ser/Thr phosphatases involved in the negative regulation of cell growth and division.
It consists of a common heteromeric core enzyme composed of a catalytic subunit and a constant regulatory subunit that associates with various regulatory subunits.
The constant regulatory subunit A serves as a scaffold coordinating the assembly of catalytic and variable regulatory B subunits.
The B subunit modulates substrate selectivity and catalytic activity.
