Target Information
RSRC1 encodes a serine/arginine-rich related protein involved in constitutive and alternative mRNA splicing. It may be associated with schizophrenia, and a pseudogene exists on chromosome 9. Alternative splicing produces multiple transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms. RSRC1 has also been linked to Autosomal Recessive Non-Syndromic Intellectual Disability and Intellectual Developmental Disorder, Autosomal Recessive 70.
