Lysophospholipases are enzymes that act on biological membranes to regulate multifunctional lysophospholipids. The protein encoded by this gene has lysophospholipase activity and consists of two identical subunits linked by disulfide bonds. It shows structural similarity to members of the beta-galactoside-binding S-type lectin family.
